Ferizaj's chairman shows why São sent the six injured to Turkey, but only four

Following the explosion at a restaurant in the centre of town, many of the people present who suffered serious bodily injuries left for the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo for further recovery.

But because the situation of some of them was extremely serious, the decision was made for six of them to be sent for further treatment in Turkey.

Despite this, the Turkish state decided to initially accept only four of them, since there was no chance for once.

Aliu said they have tried to do everything for all six patients to be sent for treatment, but that the decision that only four of them will be accepted once was exclusively the decision of medicine in Turkey.

It is the decision taken by Turkish authorities to accept four patients and then these four are low depending on the bodily injuries of the Professional Council within the USKUK. We are making efforts by all Kosovo authorities, including all levels including the Ministry of Health to find ways for these other two to become their transfer, but otherwise Turkish authorities have already agreed to only four be accepted there. There are several other citizens who are seriously injured, one of them is also 20-year-old, for whom I hope to be transferred”, Aliu said.

He pointed out that both the cook and the owner of others who have been hurt are part of this disaster for which he hopes to be healed as soon as possible.

Even the chef and others are the citizens of Ferizaj who have suffered serious injuries, and I wish they could recover quickly. The owner of others is deeply injured. Their situation is listed by clinic doctors, by their professional council who have also recommended that these be listed, Turkish authorities have decided and we are making efforts to add to that list other citizens who have serious injuries”, Aliu added.

Ferizaj's first said he has met again with family members of injured persons who were not sent to Turkey and who in various ways have expressed disappointment at the decision.

I have also met with family members, and I fully understand the situation, and I wish they were in good health and have a cure as quickly as possible. We're trying to do everything because we're understanding the situation that first it's too heavy for him and his family, but we're in this, and we're gonna do everything we can to get them back to”, Ali concluded.
