Alym Rama from the CEC's Council for Election Operations has called for those still registered with UNMIK documents to be removed on the voter list.
“Taking into account even elections in Podujevo, UNMIK documents that have expired from the currency and are located in the civil registry create an inaccuracy on election lists. We request that all persons who are registered with UNMIK documents and who are on the list be removed, but in the moment that the list of preliminary voters does not include persons who have UNMIK documents”, he has said.
Rama further demanded that voters' lists leave dead people
“From the retirement department notes at the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, the CEC has addressed the list of dead persons over the past year. There are 23 thousand people there. Last year it's been confirmed by 11 thousand and something and we're asking them to get off the list”, he said further.
The Council for Operations in the CEC has also proposed that the vote of persons living outside Kosovo take place online.
“We have discussed that the voting of exiles take place online. The application of persons who are outside Kosovo so far has only been done by filling out the forms, one step further it would be that this form would be online too”, he has declared.
