European Union spokesman Peter Stano has confirmed to Clankosova.tv that dialogue will resume after the government produced by the February 14th elections has been formed in Kosovo. “
We are not setting artificial deadlines, the work of dialogue continues, meetings should resume when the new government in Kosovo is in power”, Stano has said February. After 20 months of pause, Kosovo talks under dialogue had resumed on July 16th 2020.
Under the relief of EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell met only once with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq. Meanwhile, working groups from both sides were formed on technical issues. Skender Hyseni led the Kosovo delegation, while Marko Djuric and later Petar Petkov represented Serbs at the Brussels meetings.
