Developed by the Mosskov Institute Gamaleya, Sputnik V was initially not among the vaccines listed for procurement in Brussels, and still is under consideration by the bloc's central regulator, writes RT, translates Periscopi.
While Hungary has already received doses as part of clinical tests, Minister Gulyas, who has been leading the management of the coronary pandemic, told reporters today that he hopes for “the much larger” to make sure of Russia.
In a statement posted on the Sputnik V site, Kiril Dmitriev, executive director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, which financed the development of the vaccine, welcomed this decision, saying that “Hungary is the first EU state to understand all the advantages of Sputnik Vs and authorized its use.”Periscope
