Hoxhaj through a Facebook post says he assured the Mala family that their sacrifice will serve eternally as an inspiration for building the state of Kosovo.
“At the same time, the Mala family guaranteed that the PDK would never forget its roots in the idealism of the Irish activists and in the blood of NLA martyrs”, Hoxhaj wrote, Reporter.net wrote.

Tomorrow it's 37 years since the Trima Hill in Pristina fired their freedom rifles at midnight between January 11th and January 12, 1984. Two brave Rexhep Mala and Nuh Berisha fell heroicly, fighting with Yugoslav police. Their rifles were the warning of rifles of KLA girls and boys that would bring freedom 15 years later.
I was very honored to have visited the family of Rexhep Mala for this anniversary, a family that has sacrificed much for freedom of country. In this case, I assured the Mala family that their sacrifice will serve eternally as an inspiration for building the state of Kosovo.
At the same time, the Mala family guaranteed that the PDK would never forget its roots in the idealism of Ilegale activists and the blood of NLA martyrs.
