Albanian Viktor Gjonaj, 43-year-old founder of “Tile Plus Tittle Services”, has been charged with fraud against his investors by a amount totalling $19m.
The purpose of this fraud was to buy Johnaj every week $1m in the “Daily 3 and Daily 4” lottery.
This activity, Johnaj, has started since 2010 and that he first made millions of dollars. However, he is believed to have lost all his money in gambling, depending on the games of fate, the American media write.
“Viktor Gjonaj is a respected businessman, but unfortunately created an addiction to the games of fate and therefore arrived in this degrading”, said his lawyer Steve Fishman.
Gjonaj has been convicted by the Detroit Court, and the prosecution brought against him has a maximum sentence that could reach up to 20 years in prison.
