The decision on the failure of some political parties: What happens next?

The Central Election Commission has not certified the election lists of the Vetevendosje Movement, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Social Democrat Initiative. The reason for this has been not to replace candidates for MPs who have problems with the law. Political subjects and candidates who estimate that they are wrongly not certified have a 24-hour complaint rights in the Election Panel for Ances and Paraseta (PZAP), where, according to PZAP's statement, despite this, parties which S unjustly have been certified lists have still complained in the Electoral Panel for Acces and Parases.
Kosovo Institute for Justice Director Ehat Miftaraj for Periscope has clarified what could happen next.
He said that given that decision PZAP is based on law and the decision of the JCK, Most likely, this organ can allow the certificate of one candidate affecting the JCK decision, writes Periscope..
“If political parties were to respect the law, procedure and authority of the CEC as the constitutional institution, lists of candidates who do not have any uncertainty or doubts that they are inappropriate to be certified as candidates for MPs under Article 29 of the Constitutional Court Law and the Constitutional Court's decision. In this case, we would have all political parties and uncontested candidate lists certified. Unsent candidates would then seize the right to complaint at PZAP. However, within 24 hours of the time when parties accept the CEC's decision to certify the proposed list, they can meet the same in PZAP, which organ on the basis of files for each candidate and political party, decide whether to certified the full lists of how they were sent by political parties, or only candidates that are not in conflict with Article 29 of the Law and the decision of the JCK”, has clarified Miftaj
“Taking on the basis of the decision PZAP should be law-based and JCK's decision, most likely this organ could allow the delivery of only candidates to affect the JCK decision.”, he said.
Miftaraj has said political parties' lists may not pass the certificate process only if political parties do not exploit the right to complaint in PZAP.
For the important public, the list of political parties may not pass the certificate process unless political parties exploit the right to complaint at PZAP”, he added.
Otherwise, the lists of the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Democratic Party and the Republika Srpska List have been certified by the CEC./ P ERISCOPY/B. Hoti/
