Since March 13th of 2020, when the first two positive cases were presented with COVID-19, the number of infected so far with this virus in Kosovo has gone to 52 thousand and 134, from 188 thousand and 138 suspicious persons to the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Of this number are 42 thousand and 948 persons who have recovered, while another 1,000 and 351 have died because of infection with the SARS CoV2 virus.
Currently, the total number of active cases is 7 thousand and 835.
In the latest report, the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK) has reported seven cases of death and 169 new cases with COVID-19.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,0050 samples taken by the SSKKUK, and tracking ground-related contacts, of which result in 169 positive cases. Within 24 hours 7 cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Mitrovica 2 cases (19, 77), Peja 2 cases (75, 76), Istog 1 case (70), Pristina 1 case (80) and Prizren 1 (31 years of age)”, IKSHPK announced today.
