The Kosovo Embassy in Rome calls on Kosovo citizens with residence/standing in Italy to respect the precautionary measures and protocols antiCondivus-19, defined in the recent decree of the Italian Government, updated on 14 January 2021, which envisions extending the emergency situation with the restrictions of the movement.
By February 15th, 2021, conditions for circulation and movement within Italian territory are envisioned: any movement between municipalities (excluding them with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants), Prefectures and regions are banned; only for work reasons, health, return to residence and urgent need are allowed, where the form of the declaration itself is indicated by the reason of the movement.
Italy/Kosovo travel and vice versa: It is only allowed in emergency witnessing cases, and for Italy's entry/transmission, mandatory 14-day isolation itself, as well as health supervision. Under this decree, these measures remain in force from January 16th to March 5th 2021.
Transit crossing through Italy: All Kosovar citizens travelling from EU states can cross the transitary route, completing the form of the declaration itself, which clearly explains the stay in the last 14 days, respecting the obligation to release Italian territory within 36 hours.
Stand/mode permits di soggiorno: all Kosovo citizens who have expired with Italian leave of residence, DCM No.2 of the 1401.2021, Article 5, envisions extending their validity until April 30, 2021.
