Kosovo Correcting Service ( The SKK reports that from the date, January 11, 2021, it will temporarily ban allowing weekends for convicts.
As an extenuating measure, it will continue with free visits and family visits, so it becomes known in the SKK media communiqué.
For free visits, with the aim of protecting from the 19-OVID pandemic, it requires that for approval of the free visit, the visitor/ja bring the test with a negative result to COVID 19, which should be no older than 72 hours. Family visits will continue with the admission of just one (1) family member. During the visit, visitors and prisoners are obliged to respect anti-convict measures, (designing, social distance, setting up a mask). Kosovo's corrective service has begun facilitating measures in co-operation with the Prison Health Department. The Kosovo Correcting Service will continue institutional co-ordination with relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and will keep public opinion on the ongoing steps”, the SKK communiqué says.
