The director of the Infectious Clinic at QKUK, Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha, says that cases that resulted in coronavirus have been presented to this clinic for treatment. According to director Ajazaj -Berisha, he said that there have recently been second - time cases, and some of them should also be [...]
According to director Ajazaj -Berisha, there have been recent cases that have occurred a second time, and some of these have even to be hospitalised.
And we've already had a second-time case with Covid-19 who were during the summer months confirmed with PCR-positive and now again were Codvid-positive, among them we have patients who at the time have not had clinical manifestations or light manifestations, while now we have some of the cases that should even be hospitalised”, she said.
She has been praying to political parties to respect anti-Convidian entities at pre-electoral gatherings for early elections.
And we as citizens of Kosovo need to be aware that the virus is still present, but we notice that from time to time we have increased numbers, and from time to time we have a decline in numbers, but we still have an increase in the number of cases that end up dying, so we all need to be aware of leaving unnecessary gatherings, keeping our social distance, and carrying the masks and all the safeguards that come out of health institutions without any difference between each other”
One concern at the Infectious Clinic, according to the director, is the lack of drugs.
We have only cases at the moment in the Infectious Clinic, which are hospitalised, and at times we have a shortage of drugs, especially antibiotics, but we are constantly in management meetings and the SSKKUK directorate, so that all medicines cannot be provided so that patients don't need to be provided by personal means, but we still have a lack of <x1, she told EO.
Among other things, she mentions the capacities of the Infectious Clinic, showing from the beginning of the pandemic to the service of citizens.
“Now in the Infectious Clinic we've been at about a year that we've only started with cases, first the suspicious cases then confirmed by March 13th and so far we've been with all the capacities we've been serving citizens for no moment without saving ourselves or families, and we've been trying at any time for every citizen who needs a hospitalization, to be hospitalised”, Aizaj-Berisha said.
