A Swiss Air plane with more than 50 people on board lost contact after it was established by the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Saturday on its way to Pontianak in the western Kalimantan province.
The reliable Flightdar24 tracking service said on Twitter that Flight SJ182 “lost more than 10,000 feet of altitude in less than a minute, about 4 minutes after departure from Jakarta”.
The plane is a 2737-year-old Boeing 737-500, according to the records detail included in the escort data.
Sriyarya Air, an Indonesian air company, said in a statement he is still collecting more detailed information about flying before making any statements.
Meanwhile, the search groups found debris of the plane on the open sea. However, these fragments will be analyzed if they are just missing from the aircraft.
