“The CEC during yesterday has been pending PZAP decisions since some political subjects have filed their complaints at the institution. We have accepted the decisions of this institution that gives the CEC justice in the decisions of January 22nd over the failure of candidates of several political subjects. In these PZAP decisions, there are legal advice, where it is shown to parties who have a complaint right at the Supreme Court within 24 hours and we will wait to proceed further then”.

“The CEC will act in accordance with the decisions of these institutions. We are also waiting to conclude the case of complaints at the Supreme Court because then the CEC can draw lots for the ranking of political subjects in the balloting of these elections. After we have approved the ballot immediately on the following day, February 2 starts with the next period of voting through post”.

Elez said that the application period to be registered as voters outside Kosovo is currently closed and is now in the screening and verification phase.

February 2nd, the voting period begins. The CEC is under scrutiny, confirmation and verification of the applications we've accepted. According to data, about 120 thousand apps have been entered into the system. Some 44,000 unopened applications have been approved during the verification, and about 41,000 e-mails were once approved. We still cannot say that this is the number of applicants because we are waiting for the conclusion of this entire process”.
