Today at 6 a.m., the application period ends to be registered as voters outside Kosovo.

To date, tens of thousands of applications have been accepted to register as voters abroad.

This has been disclosed by Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi.

The voter service is intensibly dealing with registration and verification. So far about 20,000 recording applications have been introduced into the system. About 14,000 have been approved. According to data we have from the voting service until the last day there were about 102 thousand unopened emails”, Elez said.

He also stated that it should be remembered that this reported application number for data access is a figure that can undergo change, because it can happen for the same person to have more than two recording applications.

“Cleaning the database will be done to avoid applications that came from more than two or three times”, he added.
