spokesman The PDK, Avni Bytyci, says this party has not been notified by the CEC of any other candidate who cannot compete.
He writes:
The Democratic Party of Kosovo is committed to honouring the Constitutional Court's decision on candidates that cannot be part of the election race.
As a political party, we have acted immediately after the announcement to replace a PDK candidate from the election list.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo announces the opinion that we have not been notified by KDP, nor by the Office Director for the registration of political parties within the CEC, of any other candidate who cannot compete.
We are hoping that this concession was made without purpose by KDK and the responsible office within the CEC.
For us, the same principle is now the most confirmed with our representative's vote in the CEC. Candidates who have had problems with the law, according to the Constitutional Court's act, cannot compete for elections and will be replaced immediately.
