Burke: No security in the region without a stable Kosovo, Nato does not remove troops

Burke has stated that the key to the region's stability and security is “to stable Kosovo”. He has added that KFOR's mandate remains unchanged and that NATO does not intend to reduce its mission in our state.
“We continue to ensure a quiet environment for all communities in Kosovo and guarantee freedom of movement for the benefit of people in Kosovo”, Burke has said of the Council for Strategic Policy portal.
He has also added that NATO continues to support Kosovo-Serbia dialogue under EU mediation as the only way for a permanent solution to this issue.
Commander NATO has added that they will respect UN Resolution 1244
“KFOR remains focused on performing tasks according to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 and the Military-Technic Agreement, in order to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all communities in Kosovo”, has posted Burkes.
Burke in this interview has also talked about the co-operation NATO has with Serbia's military and their joint exercises.
