A total of 60,916 new cases and 830 deaths were reported this morning, according to England's Public Health.
This was the highest number of infections recorded on a single day since the beginning of the pandemic, reports ATS.
On Monday, England and Scotland announced complete deadlock throughout the country.
Wells has been in a deadlock since December 20th, while Northern Ireland is in the second week of a six-week deadlock.
