At Monday's meeting of the EU Council, which was chaired by him, EU foreign ministers discussed future relations with the United States and the work they will have on key and most urgent “global affairs, Tanjug reports.
“Ministers are ready for a new start”, he said.
In his blog last week, the chief of European diplomacy demonstrated expectations that future co-operation between the EU and the United States will lead to results in the Western Balkans, especially when it comes to preserving peace and security.
