O BSH called today for greater solidarity over anti- vaccines CO VID-19 and urged rich countries to end bilateral agreements with pharmaceutical companies.
“I encourage producers to give priority to the distribution of vaccines through the COVAX mechanism, put it into operation by the World Health Organization and its partners”, said the head of the UN agency, Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus, at a press conference.
“Also, it encourages countries and producers to stop linking bilateral agreements at the expense of COVAX”, he insisted.
O Header The U.S. has asked places that have ordered more vaccines than necessary, to provide them at once, the COVAX, which is about to share them equally from today, even for poor countries that have no access to security.
