The president of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has this Sunday talked to Emmanuel Macron, president of France, to strengthen the link between the two states, says a report issued by the White House.
The report said that Biden has stressed the commitment to strengthening NATO relations and partnership with the European Union.
The two leaders also agreed on a close co-ordination, including multilateral organisations, in addressing common challenges such as climate change, COVID-19 and global economic recovery.
They also agreed to work together on joint foreign policy priorities, including China, the Middle East, Russia and the South African Sahel region, Reuters writes.
