Members of the US inauguration commission say that the parade, following the 78-year-old Democrat's oath, will be kept virtually to avoid human gatherings. Of course, this ceremony will be historic as the nation will see Biden officially launch office and for the first time it will be a woman in the post of vice president.
The Democrats are urging Americans not to travel to Washington, but to see the January 20th event online. The virtual parade will pay tribute to American heroes and reflect the diversity of this country as well as its heritage.
The event will be performed by well-known US stage names, whose names will be revealed in the coming weeks.
