Vetevendosje MP has said this expression “was part of her vocabulary as the skeleton of a mentality that prejudges and attributes evil and words to women on the sides. ”
However, she has apologised to Kosovo's women and men for the ugly expression that was heard coming out of her mouth, Periscopi conveys.
Kusari further mentions her commitment to women and condemns patriarchal culture.
That I have made a mistake of using it unconsciously and without purpose to burden women, I accept and apologize.
Full status:
Days ago news was made on one of the Kosovar media that my expression used during the <x0-> show. DPS at Fidan” regarding Avdullah Hoti's behavior when he issues his side and leaves the hall to avoid hearing criticism. I characterised this behavior with the irreversive expression “Gs of this evil”, the expression that remains unfortunately part of my vocabulary as the skeleton of a mentality that prejudges and attributes evil and words aside from women.
I remain convinced that the behavior of Avdullah Hoti, who offends deputs without a microphone and gives out words is evil behavior, and it doesn't go so far as he claims to carry it.
That I have made a mistake of using it unconsciously and without purpose to burden women, I accept and apologize.
But to be characterized as someone who intends to oppress or insult women, to me it's irrational and besides an attempt at political battle, it doesn't represent anything else.
I'm a woman myself, and since I'm aware that I've been born a girl and living in a society of different standards for girls and boys, I haven't lined up the battle for equality.
This battle does not relate to the positions I hold, and neither the party I represent, this battle is part of my life, values and incarnation with life.
My professional and academic life is not just about politics, so it's easy to convey what values I've represented and what decisions I've made to empower girls and women in our society.
My experience in executive and legislative work gave me a direct opportunity to contribute to executive and legislative changes in economic empowerment of women and girls and equality in the countries taking place.
Well, we have our mistakes and they have to be recorded when they are done, even if the word is spoken and remained as a skeleton in our memory that needs to be erased and forgotten to remember and repeat.
My cause for equality goes beyond politics and beyond my public mandate, it is promoted to me for as long as I have life and clear minds to work. This cause is not only about the stupid lessons and the right actions, it is also about my personal suffering and effort, and the women and girls around me, this cause is the daily renaissance of our work so that new generations do not suffer what we experienced.
