Shala has said his name has not been discussed at all as a candidate for prime minister in the February 14th elections.
LDK deputy chairman said the only name that is the essential candidate for prime minister from the party was Avdullah Hoti.
“Hoti has been the only formal candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo. Even in the party's leadership and other levels of the LDK organisation, there are additional points and preferences.
They also discuss other names, but in a formal sense that is essential for LDK, we have discussed other candidacy”, Shala added.
“Avdullah Hoti is prime minister in office. His mandate was interrupted because of the Constitutional Court's act of judgment. Because of Mr. Hoti had that function we had assessed his work and the work of government and we didn't really discuss any other candidacy. So that's why”, Shala ended up in Rubikon.
