At the virtual meeting, the current political developments were discussed.

Hoti and Chancellor Kurz also talked about the visa liberalisation process, where he received his support for continuing work in maintaining met criteria for liberalisation so that even Kosovo citizens can move freely in the Schengen area as soon as possible.

While, at the request of Prime Minister Hoti, Chancellor Kurz confirmed that Austria would consider continuing the deal on soft loans with Kosovo, mainly for water supply and sewage treatment projects.

Prime Minister Hoti and Chancellor Kurz praised relations between the two countries by expressing readiness for deepening co-operation in any area of bilatelic interest.

We remember Austria was one of the sceptical countries for visa liberalisation.
