Albania's Assembly today has approved the Normative Act for its production and supply of Pfizer vaccine. All three norms have received 94 votes, 5 against and 3 abstentions.
This agreement paves the way for the first shipment of vaccines from Pfizer to Albania, while vaccines in Albania have already begun, after being donated 975 vaccines from an EU country whose name does not become public.
With the vote today clears the way for the deal, when I said the first dosage would come in January, and then we'd get the whole amount agreed on and we could order another amount directly from Pfizer. We're prepared. The vaccine centre in Tirana is open and functioning, extend to Shkodra, Vlora and beyond that access not only to health people but also other ages is easier. Then, in the process, it will become the tree of all lines of vaccination infrastructure to take it to every circuit to realise the ambitious scenario for 14 months. The vaccine has two effects, the person's direct one and the removal of the chain”, Prime Minister Rama said. /tch
