A Albanian soldier's life lost in Afghanistan

For several months the Albanian contingent was located in Herat under NATO peacekeeping missions. Defence Ministry and General Staff authorities are co-operating with the command of the operation to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances in which the event has occurred.
This is not the first time an effective armed forces lost their lives in Afghanistan. In 2011, Captain Fetty Vogli was killed in one mission while another was injured.
“The authorities of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff are co-operating with the command of the operation to make full investigation into the circumstances in which the event occurred. Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff provide personnel on the mission, and their families will continue to support and to be there to successfully fulfill the mission. The Ministry of Defence, General Staff and all Armed Forces personnel express the most likely condolences to the family for the premature separation of their loved one's life”, the Albanian Defence Ministry says in a news release.
