LDK Deputy Chairman Agim Veliu has said today that he will be an MP candidate.

Veliu has been one of the protagonists in political developments last year.
He has released the Podujevo municipality, or become a minister in Albin Kurti Government and has been fired. His clashes with Kurt have only deepened.
Immediately after announcing preliminary results on November 29th, the former head of Podujevo said that in other election processes, the Democratic League of Kosovo will return to victory.
“We have both potential and membership and are committed to working for the LDK, to continue working, without alignment, as we have worked these 30 years”, he has stated.
The next day, Veliu had again given importance to the “reversion” of LDK.

At a meeting with the LDK branch leadership and structures in Malisevo yesterday, Veliu said that “co-ordinated for the February 14th national elections, joint preparations and co-ordination that we will have”. He said the LDK intends to go first in these elections.
“The LDK will work hard to get first in this election in Malisevo, but also throughout Kosovo thanks to the work and engagement of each activist and member of its”, he wrote in a Facebook post.
The Democratic League of Kosovo yesterday has held meetings with Branch heads, while after this meeting the other party deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has been declared, who said they will try to carry out all the legal and constitutional obligations they need for elections.
Haziri stressed that the LDK in this election will be represented by credit names and representing the party's ideology.
We are willing to fulfill legal and constitutional obligations tomorrow even in the coming days so that the names of the LDK can be cleared in legal terms. It will be creditable names, men and women representing the ideology and politics of the LDK representing our youth, but other communities, including those living outside”, he has declared.
The LDK deputy chairman admitted they are negotiating with other small parties for coalitions, while adding that this issue will be finalised next week.
Kosovo citizens will have to stand in elections for the second time within a year and a half.
