Over 51 thousand Kosovars infected with COVID-19 over last year

The National Institute of Public Health has announced yesterday that 174 positive cases with COVID-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, following the testing of a thousand and 224 samples and that a death case has been recorded as a result of infection with this virus.
Positive cases are recorded in Pristina, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Fushe Kosovo, Vushtrri, Podujevo, Suhareka, Prizren, Gjakova, Drinas, Kamenica, Peja, Rahovec, Istog, Kline, Malisheva, Novoberda, Obilic, Shpere, Skanderaj and Year's.
With these cases, the number of Kosovars infected with coronarys since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 51 thousand and 502. Of them, 41 thousand and 862 have won the battle with this disease until one thousand and 336 cases of death have been recorded.
The total number of positive cases is 51,502 cases out of 184,737 suspicious persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,336 cases of death. Over the last 24 hours, 445 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 41.852 cases, while the number of active cases is 8,314”, the report says.
Otherwise, the National Institute of Public Health has appealed to all citizens to go and test for COVID-19, according to epidemiological media, at all regional public health centres in Kosovo.
