13 of them who were patients at home of elders appear to have links to the side effects of doses, health officials have said.
Common reactions to the vaccine, including fever and vomiting, “may have contributed to the fatal outcome of several weaker patients”, said Sigurd Hortomo, chief physician at the Norwegian Bars Agency, in a statement Friday, Klen Kosova reported.
Despite these deaths, officials are not expressing serious concern and are continuing to regulate their instructions on who should receive the vaccine writes New York Post.
The news comes just over a week after officials reported the only deaths of the two residents of the house of elders after they took the first dose of Pfizer.
More than 30,000 people in Norway have received the first dose of Pfizer or Coronavirus vaccine since late last month, according to official figures.
