Just January 22, 1998, in the early hours of the morning, from the Hunting Moon factory, about 500m from the Jashar neighbourhood houses, Serb police forces had been deployed, heading towards the Yashars Tower, to attack them.
That sad night, Adam Jashar was not at home, but he resisted the attack by Hamza and Shabani, along with the other members.
Serbia's third attack on the Jashar family had taken place on March 5th 1998, where following a three-day war that had lasted three days, 59 members of the Jashar family, including the legendary commander of the KLA, Adem Yasar, had crashed.
In this case, the Skokyright Community, together with associations released from the KLA war, will pay their respects in honour of the Jasar family's extraordinary heroism. (Memorial complex “Adem Jashar”, at Prekaz, 10:00)
