The Kosovo government has reached agreement with the SBASK over the additions it has been seeking due to the pandemic. And by 2023 teachers in Kosovo will receive their 13th salary.
So the prime minister in office announced, Avdullah Hoti, at a media conference where he said he and SBASK have also agreed on the Shuffle for teachers and transportation.
All these Hoti said they would be part of the agreement to be signed today.
“We've agreed on all collective issues regarding the mode of functioning, work time precision, teaching rights. I thank the U.S.S.S.B.S.A. for the readiness to talk and to reach agreement. We've handled all cases without exception. We've agreed to give the 13th pay starting in 2023, we've measured the bar and transportation for teachers. This has implications on the budget. This contract will be signed during the day after several minor interventions. The faithful, due to the pandemic, will be paid two additions to pay. I am glad that we have reached completion of negotiations in the field of education”, he said.
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Rame Likaj said there have been very good reports with SBASAK, while saying it is a success that implementation of the 13th wage by 2023 has been made not to charge the municipal budget.
And the SBASK chairman, Nundman Jashar, said this is good news for all educators.
“From Monday we will have a new spirit in the field of education and we will do our work with even more responsibilities”, he said.
