These are part of a programme that as a target has a population of 200,000 citizens. These include an emergency assistance scheme to address the basic needs of 8,000 families living in poverty, including families belonging to minority groups or who are not officially registered. The goal is to improve the sustainability of social policies that address inequalities and promote social cohesion in the medium and long term plan.
Snoug stressed that the pandemic has created a sense of isolation among individuals and has destabilised social life, causing mental and physical concerns as never before, the signal reports.
