The Kosovo Gastronom Association has once again asked Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Health Minister Armend Zemaj to abolish the decision on limiting the movement.
The Society calls for schedules for the gastronomial sector until 00 a.m.
“We as the association, through the demands of our members, call for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's current decision to be abolished, and in addition to that, we naturally require extension of working hours for the gastronomial sector by 0 00:<18x1>, the Kosovo Gastronom Association's application said.
Full request:
The Kosovo Gastronomous Association is an independent, nonpolitical and non-profit organisation. The SHGK is a sectoral association that operates within the framework of the Kosovo Economic Council, which is the only institution of business established by law in the Republic of Kosovo, and our joint activity is held on the basis of this Law (The Law on the Economic Ode of Kosovo 2004/7) approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.
In order to represent, support and sustainable development of the gastronomy industry in Kosovo, and based on the current circumstances of the sector, the USGK comes with a proposal and adequate demand that can be applied to decisions by relevant institutions in the sense of supporting our sector, always in view of the care in preventing and not opening up the COVID HR 19.
The SHGK since its establishment, its activities are based on rights guaranteed with the laws and Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. At the request of its members, the association has issued a petition dated 01.09,2020 by which the length of the physical persons' circulation hours outside their houses from 22:30, at 00: 00 p.m. until 05 a.m.
After the completion of the signing process, the SHGK will send this petition to your institutions, with which change in the decision regarding the point being quoted is required. We as the association, through the demands of our members, call for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's current decision to be abolished, and in addition to that, we naturally require the extension of working hours for the gastronomy sector by 00 o'clock.
The current situation in our country as far as the sector we cover and for which we experience is very disturbing. As a result of measures exercised by Kosovo institutions, many businesses risk closing down on obstacles that have been caused in their business business.
So far we have had no direct support for businesses from our institutions, but only to workers through the Emergency Pacos, and that with many concessions in its implementation.
So, in understanding and consideration of the situation created, we ask you to address our demands with high priority and offer assistance to businesses that unfortunately rank as one of the most hit in the country.
Future steps and activities to be exercised on the part of the association will always be democratic and in line with the attitudes and decisions of Kosovo institutions.
The Kosovo Gastronomous Association vows that it will provide the irresistent support for the gastronomic sector and Government of the Republic of Kosovo, providing professional services for overcoming this circumstance, and providing more adequate alternatives so that the effects of this crisis are manifested with smaller consequences.
The chairman of the Kosovo Gastronom Association,
Petrit Krokoqi
