Writer Sarah Ferguson has fortunately escaped the terrorist attack on the twin towers in 2001. She was in the American city because she had several meetings on September 11, that year.
Having conducted an interview for The NBC, the writer, had departed for a meeting with a charitable organization whose offices were located on the 101st floor of the World Trade Center.
But after leaving NBC's studios, Ferguson was delayed in traffic about 20 minutes. The delay has saved the writer's life because she was not in the tower when she was hit by the plane.
I take every minute as a blessing. I work hard at this”, Ferguson's reaction to the media talking about this event.
No one was left dead in the office where the writer was going. However, 700 employees from a finance firm standing near that office remained dead.
Ferguson's ex-husband, Prince Andrew, also indicated the moment he learned of the attack. He has confessed to the media that it has been very difficult for him to remain calm because he thought Ferguson was inside the building.
