Wessel: Kosovo delegation failed, lost chance for mutual recognition

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini has called the presentation of the Kosovo delegation to the White House failure on 4 September.

Wessel has said that in the US, Kosovo has lost the opportunity to reach the final agreement.

We've made clear the PDK position, we think it's a lost chance to meet Washington at the White House. At the height of world policy where our delegation has had the chance to be our delegation, it has been expected a long time from citizens, there has been also a hope that a painful process would end and there would be an epilogue that would be positive, and we would have final agreements and mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia, without violating the sovereignty and integrity of the countries. We think it's the failure of our delegation, we had a setback, we had an unpleasant surprise”, he said,

Wessel has said that Kosovo's resources, not recognition, are being discussed in signed documents.
