VV doesn't show how it would protect veterans from Elex arrests

Albin Kurti says the heads of institutions are silent when veterans are arrested “among Pristina”. He says he'll protect them. And what would Kurt do to stop the Prosecutor's Police at The Hague? The Vetevendosje Movement, however, has no answer. “The PDK does not defend them, as it concerns its assets. [...]

“The PDK does not defend them, because it is concerned with its illegal assets, the LDK does not protect them, that it has the political direction”. Therefore, the Vetevendosje Movement has started flirting with KLA veterans, who, according to Kurt, is home to those who fought.

In a speech by former Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in fact some of his speeches, repeated that LVVV would protect KLA veterans if it were in Government.

It is not clear how this protection of veterans would be made, now that the arrests are being made with a warrant issued by the tribunal, created by law voted in the Kosovo Assembly.

How would LVV protect veterans from arrests? Would the police forces of Elex be physically hampered?

The LVV's Media Office, until the moment of publication of this text, has not answered the Express questions about Kurt's statement of veterans' protection.

Kurti's party has consistently opposed Eulex's mission to Kosovo. There's experience in the spin of Euex cars. However, Kurt didn't give any details about how you think you'd get arrested.

I publicly said in parliament, if in government V We would protect the KLA fighters”, Kurti said during the virtual meeting of the LVV General Council.

LVV leader, who has won the 6 October elections, says institutions are silenced veterans are being arrested with special police between Pristina.

“ ... but Thaci, along with LDK, knocked down our good government because it was a good government. Who is now protecting the KLA soldiers? Sadly, no one from the government and the presidency, or our institutions, is speaking up. When they are being arrested with special police in the middle of Pristina war veterans, the heads of institutions are silenced”, Kurti said.

On the other hand, LVV leader says his party is the only one that protects “with sincerity and heart” UCK veterans.

The War Veterians, who are not involved in corruption, and who are the majority, are 99% of veterans, they need to have more clearly today than ever, that the only political subject that sincerely and wholeheartedly protects them is the Movement V. [Skip]

Last week, three arrests were carried out in Pristina by The Hague Special Tribunal.

The former superior has been arrested KLAU in Llap's operational zone, Salih Mustafa, as one of the first to have confirmed the indictment for war crimes.

Euex's Polciia on Friday raided the offices of the Association of Veterans in the Kosovo Civil Army War. After several hours of raids, the head of this organization, Hysni Gucatin, was taken into custody. A few hours later, Eulex police officers, in association with investigators of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, also arrested Deputy Chairman Nasim Haradinaj in the Payton district, entering the 7.

The two OVL-KLA leaders were arrested after publishing files someone had brought to their offices, and according to veterans, had stemmed from The Hague Prosecution. The identities of victims, witnesses and suspects were discovered in these documents.
