Vuciq reveals details, says no mutual recognition, despite Hoti asking for ten times

One of the most important points in the deal offered by Washington was the ten point in which mutual recognition was required, which has been rejected by Serbia, which has managed to get that point off the deal.

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, at the media conference yesterday, has said the main war has been fought around that point.

He has stressed that they have not made agreements with Kosovo, as he does not see the subject of international law, which he says will be very important later.

“As a start, we made bilateral agreements with the US. So, it's not a trilateral agreement, that's an important difference. So, bilateral agreements between the Republic of Serbia and the United States, so the third party we have not accepted as subject to international law. This has been very important to us. You will see that this fact becomes even more important when we reach a difficult point for us, which has nothing to do with Kosovo entirely. When we get to this point, you'll understand why it's so important that we've made a bilateral deal”, Vuciq said, time broadcasts.

He has indicated that for 15 minutes the Oval cabinet has remained with President Donald Trump and his associates.

President Trump has expressed the desire to visit Serbia, so as you have seen, even in the official part I have repeated the invitation for such a visit, which would be an American president's first visit after President Carter's visit with the Broz funeral (Titos)”, he has indicated.

Vuciqi added that, “now we are dealing with the economy first of all and with some political issues that are not painful for our country”.

He says this is a real and very good agreement for Serbia.

Serbia alone is ahead of the opening of the United States Development Fund office in Belgrade. There is no one for Pristina, nor for any other country in the region. I'm proud of this. This will mean a powerful signal to all credit agencies, to all investors, both American and western. It will be a sign of how much America wills not only to deal with the Serbian market but also to work for the progress of the economic environment. That's great news”, Vuciq said.

Vucinqi has said Albanians were willing to sign everything, provided the tenth point for mutual recognition returned.

I can first say that Albanians have rejected three things. First, they were ready to sign everything, provided it turned to the table point 10 of the deal. Hoti has insisted on this about ten times. When we managed to take off point 10, Hoti said that even if I had an argument about Wajman and the mini-Shengen, I'm ready to accept everything just to return point 10. That 10th point doesn't exist anymore. There is no mutual recognition”, Vuciq was declared, while adding that people in Serbia can breathe freely.

He says the Kosovo delegation was unclear and didn't understand Americans either.

The other “Picka they opposed was mini-Shengen. In fact, the arguments were very strange, they mixed him up with Shizhen, we didn't really understand that exactly, neither we nor the Americans. Honestly. Minister Selimi said something to Grenelli, but we didn't understand anything. And we saw in the eyes of Americans. Even O'Brien didn't understand anything. But that doesn't matter. It's important that they are committed to their agreement with the Americans to approach the mini Schengen. Why is this important to us? It doesn't matter whose idea it is, it was ours, we'll share the market with it. There will be no more tax and tax surprises and so forth. With this we will ensure the free circulation of people, goods, capital, services”, Vuciq said.

He emphasises that this is of first importance to Kosovo and Metohija Serbs, and then to all Serbian citizens, all over Serbia.

Our economy has lost half a billion euros for just one year because of the tax. There will be no more such thing. We have the most powerful economy, so mini-Shengen is important to us, even though it benefits others. But we feel good about others too. But Serbia benefits greatly from this, and I am happy that we have managed to postpone it. Now Albanians have the obligation to accept that. After that, only Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro remain to approach mini-Shengen, in order to reduce operational spending for 3, 4 and later also 6.7 per cent, giving additional imputation and impulse to our economic development”, Vuciq has said.

He has also talked about mutual acceptance of diplomas and professional certificates, which, according to him, has had resistance from the Albanian side.

“at this point they resisted, refusing to accept the diplomas of the citizens of Mitrovica, but then dropped five. Then it says here that we will diversify the sources of electricity supply. This was actually the continuation we've been trying to do and we've succeeded in getting rid of the deal, because we had to declare from whom we're going to buy and what we're gonna buy. We have rejected such a thing”, Vuciq said.

Another issue that has slammed the Kosovo delegation is the Wyman issue, according to Vucinqi.

“Tutje, the core issue for which they are arguing among themselves, is Gazivoda, or Wyman, as they say. It says here that both sides agree to work together with the American Department of Energy and other American Government organs in a feasibility study that would have to work on sharing the energy resources of the Uyman Lake. So, for people to understand why they were against us, it's because we don't get any kilowatts of power from Weiman right now and so on, however separate and in any way separate we'll benefit ourselves. That's why they've argued bitterly among themselves, but I think that resource sharing is the right option for both sides, that's why we have insisted on Brussels and will continue the insistence on the talks that will be held there and see how it will be”, Vuciq said.

So he added that it's important that Americans do the feasibility study and that “we can get the part that belongs to us, so it's both the current and the water”.

This water is deeper to us, so we have more water, but this water primarily goes to Metohija, Whitehin and Pristina. So very few water goes to Serbian territories, while we have no current. In the end, this point for us is phenomenal, while in Pristina as we have seen, it has sparked rowing”, Vuciq has declared.

The Serbian president has also indicated that there will be benefits of visa liberalisation for US entry.

This means that we do all security checks at our airports, so let's do it together with Pristina, so that as Poland can calculate visa removal in future periods”, he has said.
