President Aleksandar Vucic spoke on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin this morning. So has Tanjug, referring to its diplomatic sources.
This is the first conversation between the leaders of Serbia and Russia after signing the agreement from Washington, the newspaper Express broadcast.
Yesterday, Turkish President Rexhep Tayyip Erdogan has conducted atelefonic conversation with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci.
This was made known in a publication on the social networking site of the Turkish presidency.
The same announcement highlights that Erdogan has talked with President Thaci, as well as Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Regional developments and steps aimed at strengthening Turkey-Kosovo and Turkey-Serbia relations are discussed. President Erdogan agreed with President Thaci and President Vuciq for continuing close co-operation and consultation on bilateral and regional issues”, the report says.
Unlike Erdogan, he has reacted following Israel's recognition of Kosovo.
Days earlier, Thaci said he is in contact with Turkish President Erdogan and that this recognition would affect the friendly and brotherly partnership with Turkey.
In contrast to Thaci, the country's prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, today declared that there has been no contact with Turkish President Erdogan, but that, according to him, Kosovo's recognitions from Arab countries are welcome and badly needed.
