In a 77-minute speech featuring topics such as choreography and climate emergencies, Von der Leyen pledged to build “a community of equality” and criticised EU member states that had dimmed the bloc's foreign policy messages for human rights.
It made clear the failure to approve Poland's nationalist right government, which has often hit what it calls the “ideology of LGB”, while a large number of Polish cities have declared themselves free “s from LGBT ideology”, reports The Guardian, in Albanian Periscopi.
“Being yourself is not your ideology,” said Von der Leyen before the MEPs of the European Parliament in Brussels. This is your identity. So I want to make it very clear that LGBTQI free zones are areas without humanity. And they have no place in our community. ”
The EU is in a long dispute with Poland on issues of rule of law, as the ruling party had implemented policies that weaken the independence of the judiciary.
Finally, Kosovo and Serbia have reached an agreement in Washington in which co-operation with 69 other countries is envisioned in order to criminalise community oppression. /Periscope
