Turkey warns war, pulls up map, threatens Greece with siege

Turkey seems committed to its goals in the Eastern Aegean. Turkish media write that Turkey has opened the “Lausanne card”, strongly urging Greece to demilitarise islands across the Turkish coast.

The focus is on the Chios and Kastelorizo Islands. Turkish media published images of Greek generals visiting the military base in Chios, even though under the Lozanne agreement this island along with others across the Turkish coast should be deilitarised.

Turkish media even wrote referring to local military authorities that the table is also the option of surrounding islands to force Greece to deilitarise.
