8 Avokat Tome Gashi says foreign police authorised by the Special Court have carried out the arrests of KLA chairman and deputy leader Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj.

He has said it has been the request of a judge in The Hague that has approved this request and issued the order.

The procedures were conducted with a police action. We thought they were EULEX's, but now it turns out there are four police officers in Kosovo. The decision to arrest them has been given to us. It has been a judge's request in The Hague that has approved this request and issued an order. Nazim has been too loud. Before he got into the show, he was arrested. It has been his request not to be arrested by EULEX police. Now it turns out that there's a whole other cop, exactly”, Gashi said.

He has stressed that discrediting the Special is good news for anyone opposed to it.

Otherwise, KLA OVL Chairman Hysni Gucati and Deputy Chairman Nasim Haradinaj have been arrested on 25 September.

Haradinaj has appeared before Special in The Hague today, while Gucati is expected to appear Thursday.
