Thaci talks to Israeli media: Continual recognition of multi-year relationship between our peoples

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has spoken to Israeli media Israel Hayom about recognising and establishing diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel, which became public during yesterday.

Thaci said mutual recognition between Kosovo and Israel is historic, while for that he expressed gratitude to the United States United America, which defeated Kosovo and Israel building partnerships as two sovereign states.

“Bilateral recognition between Kosovo and Israel is a historic achievement. As I hope to open our embassy in Jerusalem, I am grateful to the United States United America that made it possible that Kosovo and Israel build a strong partnership as two sovereign countries”, Thaci told Israel Hayom.

The country's first said that the people of Kosovo and the people of Israel have established an unbreakable link on sacrifice, war and the struggle for survival throughout history, and that it strongly believes recognition is a continuation of a long-standing friendship between our countries.
