Turkey's search for gas and oil reserves in Greece's alleged waters has created a major strain of relations between the two NATO member states, the Anadolu Agency reports.
Turkish President Recep Tayip Erduğan warned Greece on Saturday, declaring it “either must understand diplomatic and political language or on the ground through bitter experiences. ”
And as tension mounts, the Turkish military has begun training called “The Mediterranean storm” with Turkish Cypriot Security Command, Deputy President Fuat Oktai said on Twitter.
The security priorities of our country and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are necessary, along with diplomatic solutions in the eastern Mediterranean, Oktai said.
Even the Turkish Defence Minister published military exercise in Twitter, which will continue until Thursday, writing “successful. ”
