BAG has re-computed the list of countries and areas at increased risk for coronary infection.
Croatia and San Marino, among other things, are new states on the list. Meanwhile, Belgium and Luxembourg have been removed from the list, Sfr.ch reports.
This modified list will take effect Monday, September 7, 2020, at midnight (at midnight on Sunday, after 24.00).
All who have stayed in such a country or area, with increasing risk of infection within the last 14 days and then want to enter Switzerland, must be placed in quarantine for 10 days, broadcast albinfo.ch. The crucial factor in this case is if the country you come back from is on the list the day you enter Switzerland.
States and affected areas will be updated depending on the epidemiology situation.
As already written, the affected persons must be quarantined immediately after entering the country and report to the responsible cantonal authority within 2 days. Disrespect may result in a severe fine.
A negative result of the entry test does not remove quarantined duty or shorten its duration, albinfo.ch conveys. This is because the negative test results do not rule out coronary infection in the following days.
Passengers who have been in a state or area with an increasing infection risk for less than 24 hours are exempt from quarantine. /Okinfo. ch
