EU spokesman Peter Strano has warned that talks between top Kosovo and Serbia officials will continue Sunday in Brussels on topics raised at the latest political summit, Tanjug reports.
“Dictions will continue on topics raised at the latest political summit. These are agreements on non-US communities and resolving bilateral financial and property claims, which is up to a legally binding” agreement, Stano said.
He says Serbia, as a country in the process of joining the EU, is expected to harmonise its foreign policy with EU policy, including reported sanctions against those responsible for violence in Belarus.
“Hopefully to see soon European sanctions announced against those responsible for the unacceptable printing in Belarus. We expect countries in the process of joining the EU to make progress in harmonising their policies with EU policies. This is not at stake”, Stano said.
