According to them from 128 patients cured by COVID-19, 52 per cent have said that feelings of fatigue even ten weeks after clinical healing.
It doesn't matter at all whether patients were admitted to the hospital, needed oxygen or were in emergency treatment, says the team from Trinity College in Dublin.
Just over half of the patients who participated in the study have been lying in hospital.
“The study stresses the importance of valuing those who have recovered from COVID-19 for the symptoms of severe fatigue, although the severity of the disease may identify a more worthy group for previous studies and intervention”, Dr. Liam Townsend.
