The results of this research are encouraging to efforts to find a vaccine, whose purpose is to create an immune response to the human body so that it can produce antibodies to protect itself from the virus.
The authors of research have examined over 30,000 Icelandic, while about 15 percent of the country's population has been tested for coronary.
About 90 percent of people who have resulted in positive COVID-19 (approximately 2 thousand) have had antibodies 120 days after infection.
More importantly, people who have been hospitalised with heavier symptoms have developed antibodies faster than the easiest cases of infection.
The immunity has been presented as the highest two months after the coronavirus diagnosis, scientists write.
This study comes under debate as to whether people who have passed the virus can become infected for the second time, while some studies suggest that antibodies quickly fade.
So far there are at least two cases of infection per second reported by scientists, including a 33-year-old from Hong Kong.
