Former KSF intelligence chief Sali Mustafa became the first person in Kosovo to be arrested by the Special Court.
Mustafa who was also a member of The KLA was taken this morning by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office on the basis of a warrant for arrest, order for transfer and alleged indictment issued by a Kosovo Special Chambers Prosecution Court.
And according to Special Court report Mustafa after the arrest he was sent to the detention facility at The Hague in Holland.
“Z. MUSTAFA is being transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague and will appear before the judge of the preliminary procedure without delay uninhibited”, the statement said.
And the Mustafa family talked about Express. His wife, she said they haven't seen him since their family was arrested. They say the other details have decided not to talk for the moment.
We didn't see it when it was taken. We've decided not to talk about this. They speak competent organs. Those who took it were not violent”, says the answer was that Mustafa's wife gave it to Express.
And the Court has also provided explanations for the arrest, saying that other information will be timely.
“According to the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, police under the Specialised Prosecutor's Office have the authority and responsibility to exercise the competencies that Kosovo police have been given under Kosovo laws.
The Law on Specialised Chambers and Specialised Prosecutor's Office also stipulates that the person against whom the indictment is confirmed is taken into custody in the application of arrest warrants or warrants issued by the Special Chambers”, said at the end of the announcement.
