Lawyer Rina Kika in front of reporters said she can't give the information because it's decided that the hearing is closed. She said the next session was postponed for October 5th.
“Today was the main review session. The Tembre Court in Pristina has decided that the hearing is closed and that's why I'm not allowed to share information about the session. The next session is scheduled by October 5th at 10:30x1>.
We recall that this judicial process is just one of the segments of Remember Wessel. We have launched a petition that represents three requirements for Kosovo Police and Prosecutorship to apologise for neglect of the case. The murder of Cameron Wessel and his rape has been preventable and the case has not been handled under law”.
She also said they have demanded that a legal procedure for their irresponsence be conducted against the Kosovo Police and prosecutors, reports EO.
Our second request is for prosecutors and police officials, who have been responsible for the case to conduct a criminal procedure and investigate their responsibility. The third requirement will have a compensation for human rights violations by the Kosovo government”.
“Ende, we have received no answers regarding our three requests. We have demanded that maximum punishment be pronounced, since we consider that criminal acts -- murder and violation -- were deliberately committed” -- it added.
Remember Wessel was found dead on July 11th in the “neighbourhood, Xhemail Mustafa” in Fushe-Kosovo.
