Serbian citizens sentenced to over 5 years in prison for three criminal acts

The Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina on Friday has sentenced it to a unique sentence of five years and eight months in prison to Serbian national Srba Antic, for pushing for the conduct of terrorist acts, fraud and illegal weapons.

At the first point of the device, he is accused of preparing terrorist acts or acts against the security of the Republic of Kosovo, but the chairman of the court, Musa Kondzhel, said the court has requalified this work inciting the conduct of terrorist acts.

He has said that with the actions of the accused, elements of this criminal act have been fulfilled, for which he has been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison, reports the “Justice Vought”.

Meanwhile, for fraud, Antic has been sentenced to 3 years in prison and 2,000 euros in fines, while for the third point of prosecution -- the one for illegal possession -- has been sentenced to 8 months in prison.

Later, Judge Kondzhel stated that a unique sentence of five years and eight months in prison is pronounced against the accused, in which the defendants' sentence will be calculated for the past time in custody and that due to the arrest date until the court takes on a formal form, but no longer than the sentence pronounced in prison.

The sentence on the accused will be executed after the full might of the act.

He is obliged to pay in the name of paousal procedures of 150 euros, while on behalf of the Crime Victims Fund the equivalent of 50 euros, in the 15-day term due to the integrity of the act.

It is also required that those who are injured turn the specific amounts into the device of the prosecution, which has not been returned until the verdict is declared.

Judge Kondzhel has indicated that the defendants are also confiscated.

Meanwhile, since the sentence has been pronounced over five years, the detention measure has continued.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, on October 1st 2019, has filed charges against Srba Antiq due to criminal acts “Preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”, from Article 144 par.3 of KPR, “Defeit “from Article 335 par.2 related to the KPR and criminal work “ownership, or unauthorized possession of weapons<5> to 371 KPR.

According to the prosecution, on July 12th 2018, from Post of Serbia No.1 in the northern part of Mitrovica, accused Srba Antiq, has sent a package of injuries to Radomir Repanovic in the village of Oswan, the municipality of Istog, and in which the package was found a type “pistol. CZ Vzore 50” 7.65 mm, with a six-packed caricator, 11 ampulta type “tramdalol <x8x3>, five packets of type “rodon”, 18 packets of tablets “owned “and a pathlet of the format “>> <x4x10).

The PSRK claims that this pamphlet called for the injured and other Serbian citizens as well: Momir Radenkovic, Begob Portic, Sasa Portic, Milos Nedelkoviq, Milan Pavllovic, Dragana Pantic, etc., to carry weapons from various warehouses in Mitrovica in order to launch attacks and use physical violence against Serbian citizens so that the international community can blame Albanians.

According to the second device of this indictment, Srba Antiq is charged with being introduced as a senior health ministry official in Serbia and as a representative of the organisation for diabetes sufferers by means of illegal profitability.

According to this indictment, accused Antic has previously received different amounts of money, such as the injured Radomir Repanovic amounting to 7,000 euros, the injured Srdjan Radenkovic of 2000 euros, Momir Radenkovik 5,000 euros, and many others had asked for money for their employment, but because of the high sums, have not been able to deliver.
